On Tom Barry, the longtime professional at Lakeside Park Club in Richmond, MAPGA Executive Director Jon Guhl said: “He is a walking lesson in how to treat others with dignity and class, and a reminder of the old-school mentality of showing up to work every day with a servant mentality to help others.”

Barry was inducted into the Middle Atlantic Section of the PGA’s Hall of Fame in 2014.
