Robert Wrenn
About Robert Wrenn
Robert Wrenn experienced both incredible highs and gut-wrenching lows during his professional playing career, which spanned more than 300 events. That perspective translated nicely upon his retirement from playing, as he transitioned to a role as a roving reporter for ESPN’s PGA Tour broadcasts. “All in, it was a great ride, and I have so many fond memories of my years competing,” Wrenn says.
Crowning Moment…
Wrenn won the 1987 Buick Open for his lone PGA Tour victory, posting a 26-under-par total of 262 that nearly tied the PGA Tour record (at the time) for lowest score in relation to par for a 72-hole tournament.
