Pat Tallent
About Pat Tallent
Born and raised in Kentucky, basketball was Pat Tallent’s first love. Coached by his older brother Bob, Pat averaged 20.8 points per game in three seasons at George Washington before being drafted by the Washington Bullets. When basketball didn’t work out, Tallent turned to golf. Great success followed, at the state, national, and international level. A consistently good ball striker, a switch to a long putter helped propel Tallent from very good to great.
Crowning Moment…
Tallent completed one of the best two-year stretches in the history of Virginia senior golf, winning the U.S. Senior Amateur Championship in 2014 and following it up with a win in the British Senior Amateur in 2015.
