David Partridge

About David Partridge

David Partridge says his body reminds him often that he’s been playing golf and competing for more than 50 years. And that longevity is part of what makes Partridge’s resume special.

He’s won at nearly every level in VSGA and regional events. In fact, he’s one of only two players in VSGA history to have won a VSGA Amateur, a VSGA Mid-Amateur, a VSGA Senior Amateur and VSGA Mid-Senior Amateur title. Fellow Hall of Famer Keith Decker is the other. And in 2021, he added a Super Senior Stroke Play title to that resume.

Crowning Moment…

Partridge joined two fellow Virginia Golf Hall of Famers—Keith Decker and Tom McKnight—on the VSGA entry into the inaugural USGA State Team Championship in 1995. Team Virginia took home the title.
